((Close)

Based in n. Wales (UK), Jonathon is a self-taught artist and animator working in a variety of visual mediums including film, printmaking, collage, illustration, sculpture and photography.

Primarily driven by emotions, textures and discoveries in experimentation, his work holds a naive and raw quality and is often described as dark, playful, dreamlike and surreal.

He has worked with artists, musicians and brands in a commercial capacity, producing art for record covers, books, posters, clothing merchandise as well as experimental film and animation. His art has been shown in galleries throughout the UK and USA and he has sold and shipped work worldwide.

Jonathon proudly adheres to a DIY philosophy when it comes to creation. Beyond producing his own animations and monotypes he screen prints his own t-shirts, produces his own giclée prints, makes his own zines and develops his film photography from his small home studio .

Selected clients: Angel Olsen, Mogwai, Dr. Martens, Pearl Jam, Murder By Death, D.S. & Durga, Sightless Pit, Riding The Low (Paddy Considine).
